by Marc Leuthold Visit Date:October 23, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "The garden and sea view rooms are great for family. Front desk staffs are helfull but Swiming pool crews are reluctant to put mats on the chairs...
Breakfast is OK but the location of the restaurant is not nice. (stuck in between buildings. The location of the hotel is far away from the center of Hua Hin andthere is not many restaurant at walking distance." |
by Signis Visit Date:October 20, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Had a 2-storey, 2 bedroom garden view suite. There is not much of a garden to speak of, except for few trees between the buildings, and you have a view of the wall of the other building some 20 meters apart, but the rooms are big, nice and clean. We were four, but 6 people can easily stay there, except that there is only one shower. The pool is good and about 20 meters long.
Quiet location a bit out of the city. You can reach Hua Hin in 10 minutes by taxi and a standard price for taxi is 150 Bt.
The beach is not too nice and does not seem that it gets cleaned often.
The hotel restaurant is quite a disappointment, little choice, food is no good, even the Thai dishes are tasteless, and you get a view of reception area. Take a taxi and go somewhere else for your lunches and dinners, if you want to enjoy them.
Overall service is quite good and efficient.
All in all it is a good place for family (except for food) to spend a weekend, but if you plan to travel for this from another country then you will be better off going to Koh Chang, Phuket or a similar location with nicer white sand beaches. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
